Ethiopia Secures €40 Million SME Financing Partnership Through EIB and Dashen Bank

EIB Global and Dashen Bank agreed on 29 October 2026 to provide €40 million in financing for Ethiopian SMEs. The facility consists of €20 million from EIB Global and €20 million from Dashen Bank, supporting longer-term business financing, particularly in agriculture and related value chains. The programme is projected to support more than 34,000 full-time jobs through beneficiary businesses.
